Wild Flowers

Our Wildflower Meadow is bursting with colour, a beautiful slice of the North Yorkshire countryside. With our pick-your-own experience, you can wander through the blooms, choose your favourites, and take a little piece of nature home with you.

How does it work?

women picking flowers

Head to our wonderful florist where we will arm you with a pair of snippers and a container for you to fill with flowers. You can chose between three different sizes

  • Jam Jar (perfect for kids) – £7
  • Pickle Jar – £15
  • Zinc Vase – £30

Then head out and wander through our sensory Wildflower Meadow, soaking in the sights, sounds, and scents of nature. As you explore, pick any blooms that catch your eye.

Once you’ve gathered your flowers, head over to our on-site florist, where we’ll wrap them up for you in brown paper. You can then take them home as they are or have them beautifully arranged into a bouquet, ready to brighten your day.

Our Florist

Our florist is always on hand to offer friendly advice, whether you’re picking your own flowers or ordering a bouquet. She knows exactly what’s in season, which blooms last the longest, and how to put together the perfect arrangement. Whether you need help choosing colours that complement each other or want tips on caring for your flowers at home, she’ll make sure you leave with something beautiful.

Pre-ordered Bouquets

Short on time or just prefer to leave it to the experts? Give us a call, and our florist will create a beautiful bouquet, ready for you to collect when you arrive. You can simply pick it up and be on your way, or take a moment to unwind with a coffee or an ice cream while you’re here.

Stay a While – There’s More to Enjoy

While you’re here, why not take a little time to relax and enjoy the surroundings? Sit down with a coffee and a slice of cake . Say hello to our friendly Valais Blacknose sheep, or treat the kids (and yourself) to a scoop of Brymor ice cream. And if you fancy something extra special, don’t forget to check out our Tea with Ewe picnic experience: afternoon (or morning) tea with the sheep.
